Update:1/23/2026 Guardian Property Management and Brandt Terrace Apartments are locking me out of my own apartment—changing the locks and denying me access. This is illegal under HUD and RCW 59.18.150; locks cannot be changed without a court order. This is retaliation. This is self-eviction, which is illegal in Washington State. UPDATE 1/7/2026; I moved into Brandt Terrace Apartments, and the unit was not ready or properly inspected—the front door was unsecured, the bathroom fan was broken, and there is mold under the kitchen sink and between the windows, just to name a few. I am allergic to mold and have (MCAS), making this extremely dangerous. Maintenance painted over mold under the kitchen sink, instead of fixing it, and the kitchen cabinets still need replacement. One of my good friends lives here and they’re trying to get her to sign a paper and she Should not have to sign anything for them to get off their booties to get all the mold out of her apartment, especially when she’s deathly allergic to it. She hasn’t even lived there for that long and they rented this apartment out without checking everything through what kind of place does that….
