I can give everyone except this older white lady in morning shift in mom and baby section a one star. Didn’t like how she handled my baby. Labor went amazing. I went in with 5 cm and they asked if I wanted to get pitocin or break water. I said I wanna wait until I’m atleast 8 cm and they didn’t have a problem with it. Got the epidural first then waiting until 8 to get pitocin and water broke at 9cm. I couldn’t be more happier with everyone there. Clean, well-managed hospital in Brandon with professional doctors and caring staff. The medical team is attentive, emergency services are efficient, and overall care feels reliable and patient-focused. Highly recommended.
Good Hospital- Though Not Exceptional The Brandon Regional Hospital is an older facility. This was the first hospital I have been in where a fly was constantly circling. While there is a parking garage, parking at times can be very challenging. The doctors seem good, but the nursing staff is phenomenal. The nurses are incredibly caring, attentive and competent. This is an older facility and thus no comparison to St. Joseph’s.
I went in last Sunday to get induced & it went really well. The staff is extremely nice & made me feel comfortable. They were patient with me even when I was highly emotional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, minus the tough moments here & there which I expected to happen because childbirth is not easy. The only complaint I have is when I was in the other section after delivering my baby, the doctor that I had originally chose for his pediatrician made some sly remarks towards me and made me feel a bit uncomfor... read more
