I hope and pray that I don't have to use this hospital again. They just seem to not be able to get their stuff together!!!
My boyfriend went there with a very very bad hernia issue and they refused him treatment because he didn't have insurance. Thank God, 2 yrs later St. Joseph's took him and did a lot more financially for him as well..You suck Brandon hospital..what happened to the oath???? Money is their oath now.
I gave birth here and absolutely left an angry woman. They kept pushing the meal with the lobster and steak for my husband and me and forgot to turn in the order. I gave birth the day before mind you. She told me I could order from the cafeteria but that's going to take at least 45 minutes. Then I wanted to circumcise my son in the hospital which insurance would have fully covered and told me not to feed him. So I withheld feeding him and guess what it never happened.
I absolutely despise this hospital. Never get my mothers home meds right and it's like pulling teeth to have tests done.
For the second time we had a horrible experience at Brandon Hospital. My grandfather was brough in by EMS even though we requested to go to a different facility. Our ER room had blood on the floor that was not his, he didn't get a name bracelet until he was taken to a procedure and it was realized he didn't have one on in that department. His name was spelled wrong and they continued to use the wrong labels for tests without comparing the name to the comuter or to his armband. Was not treated very good. They didn't give 4 cycles of my medication. I was admitted for heart and lungs issues, and was not even given me those medications. Went without a bed side phone. Was not given anything to drink for 7 hours and I was able to eat and drink. The doctor never put orders for any of my home medication. Just not good care at all
