RecommendedThe staff is so kind and friendly. The follow up is excellent. Dr. Durfus is extremely knowledgable and goes the extra mile to research your pets' problem and come up with the best solution. I have a 14 year old toy poodle who has been plagued with health problems all of his life. I do not think he would have survived this long if it werent for the excellent care from Dr. Durfus and staff. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been taking my dogs to BAH for many years. Dr. Derfuss and her staff go above and beyond. One of my dogs is epileptic. Dr. Derfuss has tirelessly worked with me, called me on weekends to check on Bo and now that we are moving out of state has helped me look for a new vet. They truly have compassion for our fur babies and have great knowledge!
We have known Dr. Derfuss and her friendly staff for over 15 years now and are very confident and comfortable with the veterinarian practice. We like that Dr. Derfuss is very knowledgeable and can treat holistically when applicable. They have accommodated us on short notice when necessary. They truly care about your pet.
Dr. Derfuss and everyone on her staff are extremely knowledgeable, caring and conscientious! we're not that near, but they are worth the drive. My three girls (Labs) love her and her staff and look forward to seeing them!!! And even the cat, Lopke, is fond of them. The medical care is top notch!
This facility has helped me with some very difficult cases over the course of many years, including a dog with a rare kidney disease, a dog that had to learn to walk again after a serious back injury, and a young dog with a life threatening congenital liver disorder. Dr. Derfuss is always compassionate, creative and knowledgeable and willing to try multiple approaches to solve complex health issues. I recommend this practice to anyone who needs good quality small animal care.
We've been bringing our cats to Dr. Derfuss since 2001. We've had four cats, two of which are still with us - happy and healthy. a 17 year old and a 12 year old. A few years back, we adopted a 14 year old cat who was deaf. She was diagnosed with cancer shortly after we got her, but with the help of Dr. Derfuss and her staff, Miss Ticklebritches was able to spend a little over a year with us and was kept happy, comfortable and loved. We wouldn't bring our pets anywhere else! Thank you Branchburg Animal Hospital!
