Dr. Puri and his entire team are great. Maria has always returned phone calls in a timely manner, has always been helpful and very thorough. And the team that does the endoscopy procedures at Brampton Civic (from intake, to porter, to nurses, to the anesthesiologist, everyone) are wonderful, kind and just generally lovely people. My only criticism is that the doctors are so busy that even if they ask to follow-up in a month, the secretaries usually can't offer an appointment within that timeframe. That secretary will give you the run around. I don't even think the doctors are aware of how unprofessional she is. Luckily I found a new doctor and clinic which knows how to talk and deal with patients.
Doctors here are excellent, I’ve worked alongside them a handful of times while I was working at Brampton Civic Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre. The secretaries, on the other hand, not so much. Their attitude is gross. Coming from a background in healthcare, I know how a patient should be treated. They should be met with compassion, and not attitude. Doctors here are excellent, I’ve worked alongside them a handful of times while I was working at Brampton Civic Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre. The secretaries, on the other hand, are not an accurate reflection of the GI’s they work for. Their attitude is disgusting. Coming from a background in healthcare, I know how a patient should be treated. They should be met with compassion, and not attitude.
