Took my truck in to get a front brake job. They wanted to charge me $660. They said both front and back pads and rotors needed replacing. I went and picked it up and took it to another brake and muffler shop down the road. He was able to turn my rotors and replaced the pads and I left paying $140. Do not take it to this place, they will try and sell you on parts you don't need. I will never return to this place.

We were really impressed with the prices, speed and reliability of this Brakes Plus location, and keep coming back with all our vehicles and our relatives' vehicles. Larry is a fun guy, and the boys are extremely efficient AND honest-- If we can get a repair done for less money somewhere else, or if it's simple enough to do ourselves he tells us. I brought my car into Brakes Plus at 8am, and the car was ready within 1 hour. The Service Mgr, Andrew, took care of my car, had the rotors resurfaced, Ceramic pads replaced, readjusted my rear brakes, and performed a Yearly inspection at half the price other competitors quoted me. Brakes Plus performed an awesome job, with quality customer service. I'll be back to bring my wife's car in to have the brake pads replaced soon. Thank You Brakes Plus!!!

They wanted me to have fuel ingectors cleaned when my car has a carburator. When I go in to get brakes checked they want to do all kinds of unecessary stuff like drain brake fluid and replace-it totally unessary! Charged more for a distributor cap and tune up than dealer. Watch your wallet-they "find"at least 500 dollars or more worth of repairs every tim you go in to have your brakes checked

I have been going to Merlins's for 3-4 years. They are honest mechanics that I know I can trust. They will not do repairs that are unnecessary & won't over charge me. I can always count on Larry to be honest on what needs to be repaired or not repaired on my car. Never any regrets!

All shops aren't created equal. After moving to Arizona I needed a place to take my car for routine maintance. I was pointed to Brakes Plus on Country Club Rd. They are awesome. Tony the manager was very helpful and took me back to my car and showed me the problems and offered a few different suggestions and prices to fit my budget. I've been back there a few times and every time I am greeted right away and then they take the time to address all my concerns. I trust these guys and will never go anywhere else.
