Brakes Plus is a the place to go for brakes. I took my Toyota Minivan in to have brakes put on it & this shop did an excellent job installing them without trying to talk me into upgrading or buying things I didn't need. I would recommend them to family & friends.
State Employee I go to the brakes plus on bell & 66ave all the time for brakes & alignment repairs, I've tried other shops in the area (pepboys.big o.mineke.) and have had VERY BAD WORKMANSHIP performed. John Radon & the mechanics there are the best and most honest at what they do in this area trust me. Good service I have taken my car in for oil changes, larger maintenance, and minor brake work. On each of these visits, they have been extremely friendly and helpful, the work is done fast and well, and they haven't tried to sell me anything extra. I have done both appointments and drop-ins, and either way, the work is done quickly.
The PLUS Is Honesty! Last Friday I had the rear rotors and pads replaced on my '07 Mustang. I was told it would take about an hour to look at my car to confirm that I really did need the rotors. However, despite being busy, a mechanic looked at my car immediately and within 15 minutes was telling me that I did need the rotors. He verified the price I had been quoted a week earlier ($70 less than Just Brakes' price), and he said he'd get it done ASAP. Within an hour and a half, I was on my way home. Today, however, was by far the best experience I have ever had from any automotive business. I took my truck in for an emergency suspension repair and Bob worked with me to help me figure out the best and least expensive method for repair. Inbelievably BAD Customer Service I went to the Brakes Plus store at Union Hills and Tatum to have someone look at my brakes, they told me that the next available appointment was three days later at 4:00 PM. I rearranged my work schedule to make that appointment. The person working behind the desk when I arrived was condescending and rude to me almost from the time I walked in. Great service Took my vehicle to another shop in the area, and was told that i needed brakes plus A LOT of other work. Took it to Brakes plus and found my brakes were fine plus i needed less than 1/4 of what was recommended. Will send all my family and friends!
Don't take your Mitsubishi Very disappointing. Took in my 98 Montaro for an alignment. They scheduled my appointment for the wrong time (I wasn't the only one). 1 hour after my appointment started I was told they couldn't get some bolts loose. At 1-1/2 hours I was told they didn't have a particular tool needed. DON'T YOU THINK THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN IN ADVANCE IF THEY HAD THE TOOLS NEEDED!!!!! That's just ridiculous. Had two other vehicles that I was going to have them work on. Not even going to waste my time AGAIN!
