These guys are con-artist rip-offs carpet baggers. They donâ??t warranty their work and sell sub-standard products to customers. I.E. Break-pads last 5 months. Then found out by discount tire that the last people that worked on front wheels used a hammer to knock wheels off hubs. I had to replace both front wheels. GOOD ONE GUYS! Go elsewhere I got a price for $140.00 on repair of their work. When they charge $446.00 to repair their shotty break job. They take advantage of women!
cheap great service – my husband and i bring all of our vehicles here. they have never pressured us or not offered an explination as to why they recomend something. their prices always are lower then other quotes we get. and with their brake service we get lifetime brake pads.
Do Not Trust Them - They will Con you out of your money – I'd love to give this business a ZERO star rating , becuase their a bunch of theives, but 1 is the minimum. I was lured in with a rear brake job for $69 coupon. I asked my wife (Mistake, as they like to pray on women) to go drop of the car, because I was out of town. Seriously perople! – Look, I have been to dealerships for service work, I have been to other shops, and by far Brakes plus is not only the least expensive labor rate in this state but also the most customer friendly! The one on country club and baseline, as well as greenfield and baseline have some of the most customer service oriented people I have met in the car industry, and The employee is right, EVERYONE tries to upsell, not just mechanics. 3 Strikes = OUT – I have 3 issues recently that cause be to never visit Brakes Plus again. 1. Told me I had a brake problem and it mysteriously repaired itself when I told hem I was getting a second opinion 2. Quote me a price for changing headlamp when I dropped the car off, then 10 minutes later called me on my phone and doubled the price. 3. Did not put enough oil in the car to register on the stick following an oil change. RUN, RUN, RUN, away from these guys! Incompetent and crooks are what they are!
Good service, friendly employees – I had tried to remove upper control arms on my VW Passat and had damaged the siezed bolt. The shop willingly extracted and replaced the bolt then installed my supplied parts for a reasonable cost.
Can they not do a simple oil change? – I went to get an oil change at Brakes Plus on County Line and Quebec and after the oil change was done the tech came out and said there was a problem with my oil pan plug. I had him show it to me and he showed me how he had put the plug back in and had put silicone around it to stop it from leaking. He said there was a problem with the plug screwing correctly into the oil pan and that it could be stripped. I asked how much it would cost to fix and he said around $500. dont trake your car here! – i took my work van here for a simple oil change. when i was ready to go i tryed to open my doore and the handle was broken. i said how did this happen and how are you going to make this right. they said they would not fix it or refund me my money, i was also treated verry rude by the mannager. based on my experince and all the other reviews on here i think you would be a moron to tak your car here
