They took no responsibility for doing more damage to my car than I had when I went in there. Car has not ran right since I took it to them. They took no responsibility for there incompetence!

Was in the area and had my wife drop off her car for brake estimate. Normally just making sure you get a plausible estimate is enough to protect yourself from shady shops, but apparently not at this shop. They called and told us fronts were metal on metal, and rear were shot too. $850 to fix. I frankly didn't believe them, especially about the backs. So they seemed surprised when I passed on having them do the work. Apparently that pissed them off, since they must have used used the best impact gun in the shop to put the lug nuts back on at probably 300+ft/lbs (spec is either 85 or 90 ftlbs I believe) and damaged one of the lug nuts in the process (and potentially damaging the rotors/hubs/wheels in the process). Once I got discount tire to remove the damaged lug nuts, I inspected the car myself. The front brakes were no where near metal on metal, and still technically serviceable by specs (Mazda's spec is only 2mm of brake pad remaining) and I had more way more than that, but as long as I had it apart I did a brake job anyway. Looked at the back brakes, and they were more than 60% remaining, so they were fine as is. So they lied, tried to rip me off, and damaged my car when I refused there service. Not even safe to use them for an estimate.

cheap great service – my husband and i bring all of our vehicles here. they have never pressured us or not offered an explination as to why they recomend something. their prices always are lower then other quotes we get. and with their brake service we get lifetime brake pads.

Do Not Trust Them - They will Con you out of your money – I'd love to give this business a ZERO star rating , becuase their a bunch of theives, but 1 is the minimum. I was lured in with a rear brake job for $69 coupon. I asked my wife (Mistake, as they like to pray on women) to go drop of the car, because I was out of town. My $69 brake job soon became a $439.00 estimate. For just the rear brakes. Basically, they said the rotors, calipers, and brakes were all bad. Bottom line, I didn't have the work done there. In getting a second opionion, I had the rotors turned ($15 each at O'Rileys), and had new brakes pads installed. Total cost - About $100.00. Wanna get ripped off, go to Brakes Plus.

3 Strikes = OUT – I have 3 issues recently that cause be to never visit Brakes Plus again. 1. Told me I had a brake problem and it mysteriously repaired itself when I told hem I was getting a second opinion 2. Quote me a price for changing headlamp when I dropped the car off, then 10 minutes later called me on my phone and doubled the price. 3. Did not put enough oil in the car to register on the stick following an oil change. RUN, RUN, RUN, away from these guys! Incompetent and crooks are what they are!

Great place for honest repair – I needed my brakes fixed so I went to firestone and they quoted me over a thousand dollars to fix my car. I thought that seemed way to expensive So I took it to brakes plus in briargate and talked to the store manager ( I think his name was jon) and he inspected my car and gave me an estimate of $350.00 and it even included a lifetime warranty. I am a single mom and don't have a lot of money. The best part was jon invited me into the shop to show me what was going on with my brakes so I knew what I was actually paying for. I am a lifetime brakes plus customer and would recommend everyone I know to take their car to brakes plus for anything

Lazy, Careless Mechanics – They ruined my rotors by turning them too far. Lied about the griding going away. Lied why it was grinding and tried to charge me for an axel that was not broken. I called and complained and they took no responsibility.
