I began service with Brake Check in Round Rock. After 4- four hour visits my car makes a very loud sound.Worst part about this is Marcus the District manager has set up 3 THREE appointments with me and no showed EVERY SINGLE ONE.I was headed from my home in Round Rock today to head to his store @ Lamar. RecommendedGreat customer service. We had to call yesterday right before closing to try and get an appointment. Not only were they extremely friendly and weren't even trying to rush us off the phone. They got us in the very next day for an inspection and repair. They did the work in a timely manner and even gave us a new customer discount. Unfortunately some grime got left on the seats and I called in to ask if they could do anything about it. I come here for all my SEEVICE NEEDS I LOVE BRAKE CHECK GREAT GROUP OF GUYS...
Here is the issue: they send out a coupon for $16.99 for an oil change, then when I show up they charge an additional $15.99 for an oil filter (more than a 200% markup). I brought my own oil filter ($7.82 my cost) and they refused to use it. Stating it was a liability issue. Which is not true seeing how they use the same exact filter. What a SCAM. So, basically it’s a bait and switch, as soon as you show up they double the price! I will never go here again. This is a perfect example of dishonest advertising by a corporation ... read more

The guy quoted me 250-300 to install a alternator. Then came back and told me 600. 350.00 for a alternator, AutoZone had them for 150.00. Worst service I've ever experienced. I'll never go back. Plus the man was real rude and unprofessional.
