Avoid this place at all costs. I had my brakes done, and two weeks later, they were squeaking. I went back, they resurfaced my rotors and told me that they recommend that I get new calipers. I asked if it needed to be done right then and was told no. I went in about two months later since my brakes were squeaking again. Had the caliper service done at that time. Guess what? I went to Brake Check after calling them and asking about the lifetime warranty on the brakes they put on in 2010 at the tune of over $400.00 I was told no problem they are covered. I came out of there paying over $600.00 I will never go back. They are dishonest and cannot be trusted.

Noisy brakes brought me in while traveling out of state. Juan explained and showed me items in question so I could make an educated decision about repairs needed. Friendly, perfossional, and patient he won me over and gained another satisfied customer. I would highly recommend this company. John

Go somewhere else. Overcharge with lousy parts. The pad clip broke and ate into my rotor. I was grinding so bad I could not drive it in. Took them the clip and they would not replace it. There are better shop around. Go there. Unless you like waiting for a long time to be over charge for lousy parts that brake not even a month later.

I scheduled an appointment on brakecheck.com 5 or so days out for this afternoon. According to the website, they would "hold my bay until 10 minutes after my scheduled time just in case I was running late". I arrived precisely at my appointment time and was warned that it would take a long time to get to me if I really wanted service done today. When I asked why I had bothered making an appointment the guy behind the counter just shrugged and said, "A lot of people came in". Hey idiot, that's why they're called appointments!... read more

I went here and had a horrible experience! If you want to be separated from your money through shyster upsell/add-on tactics, please visit them frequently. I went in for a brake pad change and have since learned from another reputable mechanic that I received the "housewife special". In addition to my brake pads I was sold a rotor refinish, new 'hardware', brake bleed and piston 'rebuild' that were very unnecessary and cost me several hundred extra dollars. This company will lie to you, over charge you, charge you for work they don't even do, take way to long doing it, and you will "mysteriously" have new problems show up shortly after. Pay the money for a good mechanic and you'll save money in the long run.

I like brake check because they have the best customer service that I have seen since I have moved to Houston and Ben was very helpful and knowledgeable about every thing that I need fixed on my car. The service was fast and I thought it would take 4 hours or more but these guys are good!!!!

TOOK MY VEHICLE FOR GRINDING BRAKES, REY THE MANAGER RECOMMENDS OTHER WORK I NEED, WHICH I'D ALREADY BEEN TOLD BY THE DEALER, AND 600 DOLLARS AND 1 MONTH LATER, THE CAR'S HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUES SO I TOOK IT TO 2 INDEPENDENT MECHANICS, INCLUDING THE DEALER, SURPRISE SURPRISE, THE WORK WAS NEVER DONE. EVEN THE BRAKES ARE NOW SQUEAKING WHICH THEY WERE NOT DOING BEFORE.
