Never go to brake check! I was overcharged and a week after paying 1,000 for a complete new brake system my brakes are making the loudest noise! Called and talked to the regional person and he told me I needed to pay more without even checking to see what was wrong! Horrible place I'm reporting them to the better business bureau as well.
Very Not Friendly Guys – I very rarely pass by this place but today I passed by. While writing a review for a great place for car repair (Katy Auto Care) I saw the horrible reviews for this place. Worst Place for Car Maintenance – Horrible team of thugs. Just a squeaking sound from the brakes have cost me $890.00 but the issue have not been resolved. I am even afraid to go there warranty check. These are people who destroys America,s name.
Horrible Service! DO NOT GO HERE – Breaks never got fixed. Had more issues 3 months down the road.
Worst Mechanic Award – These people need to be shut down forever they don't deserve any stars but this site requires that I give them at least 1 before it will place my comment out there. 1st off my wife went to Brake Check just have the brakes, just to get an estimate. But Brake Check in there wisdom told her that she had to turn the rotors. I'll take my car there from here on out – I was having issues with the brakes on my car, so I took it to brake check. The manager (Steve) explained the 3 step inspection to me, but I told him to just call me once after everything was inspected. Within an hour I received a call from Steve and he informed of all the needed and recomended repairs. Great Work Very Helpful – My car was serviced quickly. I waited a few hours total. They were very efficient and the price was better than Brake Sp.... the other guys. They showed me the brakes before and told me exactly what needed to be fixed to stop the squeaking and the scary noises. They called me when they found a caliper leak and were very specific about the price. I would recommend them to anyone who is worried about their brakes. Incompetent Technicians, Crooks for Management... – Took a 1997 Honda Accord in for a front end alignment. Tried to sell me a complete strut job for $400+. After they did the Alignment, car steered to the left constantly. Took it back. They made me sit and wait 3 hours until they got to the car. Tech checked it and said there was nothing wrong. NoStar – I had an alignment done to my vehicle a day before I drove back to CO. Unfortunatly they had removed all four tires which is understandable for an alignment. What I dont understand is why they DID NOT use the proper tool to remove the damn lug nuts. What ever tool used to remove the nuts was to damn tight. Using an impact wrench or some sort they went ahead and removed it. Now on every rim, every lug nut there are scratches. 95% of scratches are really noticeable.
