good school but why make students pay 2K for pathophysiology only to waitlist or outright not accept them. It’s a money grab considering no other nursing schools will apply the pathophysiology credit.
I graduated from UT Tyler a few years ago, honestly not too much to write home about, had some good instructors, others so-so. Clinical experiences felt kind of lackluster but really depends on the preceptor. The one thing I absolutely disliked was that our graduation was contingent on forced participation with some company called Tex Aire because they wanted to market an air filter. UT Tyler School of nursing has some of the most incompetent instructors I have ever had, including my undergraduate degree. Do NOT waste your money or time at this school, you will not be successful in your career, they set you up for failure.
