I rented through Dan for almost 5 years. He proved to be very responsive for any maintenance requests (minimal during the entire 5 years), sent kind and helpful folks to do the repairs, and recommended wonderful folks for any projects I needed help with (e.g. locksmith). I would highly recommend renting through Brainard Realty as the rent prices were fair, appliances and fixtures were well maintained, and I had no issues with the house or leasing office during my 5 years there.
