TLDR - Only work with this company if you are okay with being misled. My partner and I worked with an agent named Chris. He stated that my 2 pet rats were “vermin,” but would be exempt from any pet fees because they are strictly caged. Upon sending the lease for our signatures, he included a pet fee of $50 per month - for both my soon-to-be registered ESA (dog) and 2 rats. When I asked about this, my question was ignored.
