If I could give a zero I would. I presented my daughter (11 years old) for the first time to Fatou and also mentioned to her the concern we have with my daughters thin edges (she just doesn’t have thick hair like I do) and asked her what type of braids to do to. We went back and forth on the best option. We almost landed at knotless and I agreed which is what my daughter normally got she then said no I think the regular singles will be better and I trusted her. I hired this lady to do my hair and she let someone else practice on my head. My hair came out horrible! I spoke to the owner but she did not care, only spoke about her time and money.

I came in for Boho braids and left with what feels like 5 pounds of hair on my head. Despite repeatedly expressing to the braider (who is inexperienced and unprofessional) that the hair felt too heavy, she kept insisting “trust me, it will be fine when we are done.” After over 8+ hours and two inexperienced braiders, I ended up with the heaviest, most uncomfortable style I’ve ever had.
