I ordered a truck load of top soil to top dress my lawn after I reseeded. What I discovered after I put the dirt down was that they sold me river bottom with sand added to keep if from solidifying, After watering the soil settled and the sand rose to the top and there was sand on the driveway and sidewalks for days.
