Dr. VanHeukelum is awesome!! He's pro-active with respect to immunizations and suggestions about everyday things to benefit your health. He always takes his time to listen to any questions or concerns and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He always asks about my great grand kids and even asks about my cat! I couldn't be happier with care I receive at East Ridge Family Medicine. The staff is great.

Great experience all the way through. He delivered my first son 4 years ago. We watched the football game the entire delivery. I was so comfortable. Even after although my son tour me and Dr. Van Heukelum had to give me 3 stitches he did a great job. I had little irritation and not long to recover. He stayed true to my birth plan and my wishes throughout. Very caring and passionate man. Hoping he will deliver my next child, whenever that is.
