1st mistake was ignoring the bad reviews. Just because there is a Dr. in front of a name doesn’t mean ‘we’ as patients should be treated like a piece of nothing. We ALL are someone’s son or daughter and have families. To be treated with dignity is what Mr. Bagan does not do. And also sir, if you have patients walk in with an MRI and CT scans with crazy pain that debilitates walking, advocate for your patient because that is what you are supposed to do. Dr. Bagan is an excellent neurosurgeon and physician! He saved my husband's life by coming in the middle of the night on an emergency basis and putting in a shunt to drain fluid from the brain due to TB Meningitis/hydrocephalus. Condell worked so well with our family during my husband's 2.5 month stay there (well, except for the floor exit nurses/social workers - but that's a different story) - and he finally got him back home. Dr. Bagen handled my nerve damage very professionally. He ordered tests, made referrals, and followed through after tests. He explained everything very well and I wouldn't have healed as well or as quickly without him. Thank you Dr.Bagen!!
Dr. Bagan performed a Hemi-Laminectomy on me. I was up and walking with in a couple hours of my surgery. During my pre-surgical consultation he took the time to explain all the risks and helped me understand exactly what he was going to do. On the day of my surgery we met beforehand and he explained everything again to my wife and I. Everything went very smoothly. Finally the pain in my back is gone and I can go back to living my life. Before surgery I was extremely limited in what I could do. Thanks Dr. Bagan!
