Dr. Bagan is an excellent neurosurgeon and physician! He saved my husband's life by coming in the middle of the night on an emergency basis and putting in a shunt to drain fluid from the brain due to TB Meningitis/hydrocephalus. Dr. Bagan performed a Hemi-Laminectomy on me. I was up and walking with in a couple hours of my surgery. During my pre-surgical consultation he took the time to explain all the risks and helped me understand exactly what he was going to do. On the day of my surgery we met beforehand and he explained everything again to my wife and I. Everything went very smoothly. Finally the pain in my back is gone and I can go back to living my life. Before surgery I was extremely limited in what I could do. Thanks Dr. Bagan!

I had a brain biopsy performed by Dr. Bagan in 2021 and woke up with my left side paralyzed. I've had to go through years of rehab and still can't walk or use my left hand. My 2nd brain biopsy was performed by Dr. Tate at Northwestern and it was completed perfectly. If you were my family or friend I'd say go elsewhere for brain surgery. I'm disabled for life.
