Dr. Matz and his team were amazing. He explained all my options and gave thorough instructions on care. I received follow-up calls as promised. When I called in with a question I received immediate answers. I'm almost 4 months out of surgery and was hiking in Colorado two weeks ago, started my body pump class back up today, and regularly biking and hiking (a little slower than I was but getting better all the time)! This has improved my quality of life greatly. Thanks to all the staff at Mercy Orthopedics.
Dr Walz may be ok,but staff is terrible. They don't call and notify of things as promised. They don't call in medication when promised. As head of his staff dr. Walz fails Medical care is a joke.
Dr. Walz was great. He has a nice bedside manner, took time to explain my knee problem, and answered all of my questions. He was very skilled at injecting my knee with not much discomfort at all. He will be my knee doctor from now on!
I had the privilege to have Dr. Walz do replacement hip surgery on me 6 days ago. I could not have made a better selection of surgeons than Dr. Walz. I did extensive research on potential surgeons upon the realization I was needing a replacement hip. Dr. Walz was constantly at the top of the recommendation list of people I spoke to and reviews I read.
