Loved Dr. Freilich. Of all the doctors I have had the experience to meet in KC he and his staff have been the most attentive, friendly, and competent. I did not have to wait long to see him and he quickly put me at ease when he explained the procedures I was going to undergo. I highly recommend him.

Became patient 3 years ago and only saw the doctor twice. Care consisted of meeting with PA and receiving prescriptions (I agree expensive ones) and more procedures. I think Dr. Freilich has more interest in his research as opposed to caring for patients.

Arrogant, told me I was faking. Year later I have internal organ damage due to misdiagnosed GI issues. Refuses to run tests on;yo prescribes expensive drugs that he gets a kickback for. His office is a farm and you'll get 15 minutes with him, a prescription and told to come back in 4 weeks. He doesn't listen and is the most arrogant, incompetent GI Doctor I have met.

Terrible experience with a liver biopsy. He couldn't find my freekin' liver!! There were ultra sounds available for him to refer to but obviously he didn't. After another needle placement done by "radiology" obtained the biopsy needed, I was released. This simple procedure took all day and required a short stay in a hospital room because of his incompetence. On my final appointment to receive results from the biopsy, he sent his nurse practitioner to confer my results. Totally unacceptable!!!
