In February, my husband had carotid artery surgery performed by Dr. Eddlemon and then had a stroke 6 days later. As a consequence, he had to have a re-check six months later, including an ultrasound of the carotid artery. I went with him to the doctor appointment (new doctor since Eddlemon left) and my husband's blood pressure was high when nurse or PA took it.
