My wife just asked for the name of the surgeon who did my cervical surgery 5 years ago, since a friend of hers is looking for a surgeon. I remember that I did not do a review at the time and I should have. Dr. Duhon was great, as was his staff. My issue needed quick action, and Dr. Duhon got me in right away. My insurance would not cover our first choice in type of procedure, and he went out of his way to cut costs so I could still have the optimum surgery. I've worked with countless spine surgeons over the past 10 years for my field of work. When it came my time to have back surgery, I choose to go with Dr. Duhon. All my appointments were on time, I got to ask all my questions and get thorough answers, and his PA is fantastic!

I have recently had my second spine surgery with Dr Duhon. This one was a fusion of L5 and a second decompression L3. Both were minimally invasive surgeries, meaning both incisions are about an inch in length. My recuperation has been excellent- no infection, no blood loss, no sutures or staples. I am 3 weeks post op at this writing and am walking an average of 7000 steps daily. He is professional, intelligent and an actual decent guy! Highly recommend him and his PA Ana!
