RecommendedSome 200 years ago this building was a tavern and the fireplace looks to be the original one. It was really cool to know that fireplace witnessed William Becknell signing the deal that lead to him establishing the Santa Fe Trail in 1821. We enjoyed great food, friendly helpful staff, and the best gooey buttercake ever served with a dash of local history.
