So wish I had been smarter about ending my lease and having my inspection (a day earlier than it was supposed to be, so they came BEFORE I had a friend coming by to clean it). Just received my final notes from them and I too am paying $900 for carpet replacement when I was the only person in a 3 Bedroom apartment for 3 years and barely used all the rooms...I also had area rugs.
