Positive experience overall. Friendly, responsive communications throughout the process from initial contact to follow-up after installation. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and flexible with different configurations. The installation was quick, started shortly after the contract was signed. Very professional and efficient service! We had a bid and solar panels on the roof within a month with no problems and great communication throughout the process.
When we decided to put in solar, we didn't really have much idea about the process, from getting bids to interactions with NWE. The biggest solar installer in town drove by the house on the appointment day (didn't knock on the door) and later emailed to decline the project -- not enough rooftop to provide 100% solar energy need, not worth their time. I recommend Bozeman Green Build to everyone who asks about solar. When we were planning for our solar system we talked to and got bids from 5 companies. Bozeman Green Build was not only the lowest bid, but was by far the most knowledgeable. Because of high demand, they completed the system later than they had anticipated. When they sent the final bill, they credited for the extra electricity we would have to pay for due to the delay.
