RecommendedMy daughter goes here after school reach day. She used to go to Latchkey at a public school. She was bullied, harassed, and unsafe at Latchkey. Since she started at Boys and Girls Club, she's been doing much better. I witnessed another kid bully her one day. I told staff what I saw. They immediately jumped into action and pulled the ones responsible in for a conversation. I am thankful for their quick response. They encourage my daughter to say something if she's being bullied or has an issue.
Bleachers are unsafe...even for children. Just witness a little girl trip on the first step and busted her lip. Why can't it be replaced with a regular size bleachers with hand rails???Elderlys have a hard time walking up & down & getting up off the bottom bleachers...ITS TOO LOW.
i have only ever experienced bigotry, racism, and bullying from their incompetent staff. They espouse communal ideals, while hypocritically ignoring them. The staff will even turn a blind eye to bullying, if you're a person of color. I would never recommend boys and girls club to anyone, and I will never let my children go to such seedy institution.
I love this place........
this place breeds bullies and bigots. I've experienced racism, discrimination and abuse at this place when I was a child and from what I've seen lately, they've never once done a thing to ensure a safe place for kids. recently my brother was attacked during a basketball league and this place justified his discrimination and the brutality he and his child's mother faced that night. my niece and those girls on the team r mortified to see such brutality at such a young age occur less than 5ft away fr their team bench. do not le... read more
