My family member is feeling under the weather and requested an appointment. Boylan refused to schedule her because they have symptoms similar to COVID. Fair enough we can more than respect that. The family member then requested a virtual visit with a practitioner and they were denied again when they asked why it’s because of their symptoms. I’m confused as to why a telehealth visit was not an adequate solution since they did not want them in the office. I see why this facility has less than 3 stars.
Always been a great practice and physicians for both elderly parents. Dr. Borja always a great resource for patient and caregivers.
WOW!!! WITH multiple generations of family members involved with this place, I cannot say anything other than rude, and do not care!! There are not enough numbers on your phone to get too the correct voice prompt. Very disappointed with customer service. Will find a new Physician
Be Aware; they will discontinue your relationship without telling you. I like Dr. Borja and went to her for years, but her office policies are so draconian that she is inaccessible to patients. I missed their "in office cutoff" by six months (during a pandemic, btw!), and now she won't see me "as a new patient" (funny, I'm not new at all) for several weeks, despite a referral from another doctor. I'm disappointed in UNC Medicine.
