While my experience wasn't as bad as the review I read about them missing someone's funeral, (my heart goes out to those people), it was still unpleasant. I ordered flowers from Boyd’s Flowers for my daughter for Valentine’s Day. I don’t live in the Wilmington area, so I am not familiar with the florists there. I placed the order online and received confirmation they would be delivered on 2/14. I called yesterday to confirm the flowers were being delivered but the call always went straight to voicemail. After reading some rave reviews of this florist, I placed an order for fresh flowers for a family member's birthday. I was sure to give Boyds their phone number to assure a successful delivery. The Birthday flower arrangement was delivered on a day the temps were in the teens, and a phone call to confirm someone was home was never placed by Boyds. Not sure if the business has changed hands, but my recent experience in trying to purchase sympathy flowers for a death was less than professional. The "salesperson" was rude and curt, not something I have experienced in my many years of purchasing flowers at Boyds. I'll be purchasing elsewhere in the future.
Just wanted to send a small bouquet and the staff at Boyd's really came through for me. The price was also the best around! I would definitely recommend them
