In Topeka with 4 family members for a work thing. Came from Salina, KS just for the day and our engine overheated. They stayed and waited for us to nurse it there. They had it fixed by 7pm the next night and we made it back yo Salina. But it was very hot and late at night and we had to walk to find a hotel. The 1 he recommended was to expensive and we ended up walking clear across town to a cheaper hotel, luckily 1 person was kind enough to stop and give us a ride. Excellent Service! They were the only place open when we broke down. They walked us through the process of what they were doing and what they needed to do and worked tirelessly to get the part we needed! We were 700 miles from home so it felt good to know we were being taken care of. Our truck sounds good as new!
My husband and I had a check engine light come on early Sunday. I called the number listed and was told they could check it. We towed the car in, but no one was there. After calling again, a tech arrived 15 mins later. He scanned the code, showed us the part needed, and called the owner to order it. On Friday evening at approximately 6:00 PM, my vehicle experienced a water pump failure while in Topeka, KS. I contacted Boyd’s Garage, which quoted me around $700 for the repair and assured me the work would be completed in just a few hours. However, the service experience quickly deteriorated: By 10:00 PM, the technician had yet to reinstall the water pump and had unnecessarily removed components such as the alternator and part of the A/C compressor.
