This is our first time getting a tree here. We looked at the prices on their website and were so excited because we were going to buy two Christmas trees here bc their prices were so good. We loved the experience and the trees were nice but prices were OUTRAGEOUS. We bought a 9-10 ft tree (that wasn’t 9ft) for $255 and they were suppose to range from $130-190 and we bought a 7-8 ft. This was our fifth year going to Boyd’s, it’s a family tradition! We love it. The trees are beautiful and they last, we always get ours the day after thanksgiving and take it down in the beginning of January.

Huge shout out to Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm. David was extremely helpful for our family as we took family pictures while buying our first round of trees. My girl friend and I drove up from Asheville (about 45 minutes away) and we were looking for a choose and cut farm. Boyd’s seem to fit the bill until we saw the prices. The trees are definitely beautiful but very over priced. Our family has been going to trees farms in this area for 18 years and have never spent more than $50 for a 7 ft tree. Boyd’s tree Farm had very questionable sizes marked on a few of their trees. we measured that tree with our measuring stick and it was clearly 7 Ft but they were charging 8 ft prices. T... read more
