Thanksgiving Day this year was my first experience at the Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm, going with my daughter and her family, returning to Gastonia, NC, after a fun trip to Pigeon Forge. Boyd Farm was such a fun experience with the family! Not just a place to pick out a tree, but lots of care given from special Christmas treats, to coloring fun, and lots of photo ops for the family, all in a gorgeous setting! Beautiful trees and cozy cabins...a place to make wonderful family memories.
Way over priced for a Christmas tree. We went down the road and cut a beautiful 7 foot tree down and paid $35.00 from another tree farm. We would never go back to Boyd's.
The scenery was amazing! But only about 2% of the trees were tagged for sale. They were full grown and beautiful looking but not available. Maybe waiting for it to be closer to Christmas for sales, I'm not sure. But the service was great and quick. I'd recommend this place, but be prepared for a lot of the trees you like to not be for sale.

It was great well worth the drive from charlotte. Just wish they would have had more trees tagged to cut down. It seems like the trees I really loved weren't tag to be cut. Love the tree I did get and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Santa was pretty awesome as well!!
Visited here this year for the first time to cut our Christmas tree. We loved it. The selection was super and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will be coming back maybe even renting a cabin and staying a while
This is a family tradition at a family farm. The trees are beautiful and the service is great! We love Boyd's Tree Farm!
