We had never been to Boyd Mountain Christmas tree farm before and we were very disappointed. Everyone was very nice when we arrived and throughout our time there. The problem was that by Saturday the trees were almost gone and those that were left were the worst Christmas trees I had ever seen. To top that off most were still $125 and up!!!! I understand that there is a Christmas tree shortage but that was outrageous! We left without a tree and were able to find a beautiful tree for half the price.
A wonderful time choosing our first Tree Farm tree as a family with 3 small children 4 and under! Everyone made us feel welcome and appreciated and the process from choosing the tree to being on our way home was explained and simple! The kids found welcoming activities such as hot chocolate, cookies, Santa and Candy canes and a kid friendly, safe feeling environment! We'll be back next year!
Great experiece to share with family and friends that you will be tempted to turn into a yearly tradition. Friendly service from parking to paying with complementary snacks, hot chocolate and apple cider, and Santa photo opp. Great for the whole family no matter the age and fur babies are welcome which is always a plus for me!

Our annual family tradition! We love the drive up there and the atmosphere the farm has!
For 3 years we have made wonderful family memories here. Our children look forward to finding and cutting our "own" tree. The trees are well tended & decently priced. It's well organized to keep things moving. There was a cold wind blowing, so the free hot chocolate, cider and cookies were a nice treat while we waited for our tree to be wrapped. p.s. we also bought a wreath!
