I found out suddenly that my cat had a rare form of cancer and short of heroic measures, that would probably prove futile, there was nothing to do but put her down. Dr. Tyszko called me on a Saturday, clearly and kindly laid out my options and walked me through possible scenarios. I love the vet clinic here!! I've been going to them for many years now and they have been wonderful. Dr. Tyszko has been great to me and our pets, she makes follow up calls and has even given me info on our pets that they do not see (our chickens) when one was hurt. Since I've been taking my pets here, I have never even considered another vet! Highly recommended :)
I like to board my pet here but I always come back to charges that were not approved by me nor my spouse. They never try to work with you and do not have decent communication. If my pet is going to see a vet I want to know then not when I get back.
Please don't take your animal to this groomer. Diane is very pushy with the animals. She doesn't do anything to make the animal feel special. She doesn't do anything to comfort them. I think that Diane has a very rude attitude. This was the worst grooming experience ever.
As a proud owner of two Schnauzers we recently took our dogs to the groomer at Boyd Lake Veterinary Center. We asked the groomer to cut a full Schnauzer cut ie: skirt , full legs, chest and beard but a little shorter than the norm due to our outdoor activities. When we picked them up we were in shock, she had cut all the skirt etc. off except beard and argued, that's what we asked for and her comments were, before she hung up on us, "you may not think they look good now, but it will grow again".
