Highly don’t recommend. Been going here for 2 yrs now and was told that I have pcos. After hundreds of dollars of unnecessary testing. The first line of treatment was birth control and birth control only. When I asked for other options I was told that birth control works but not every birth control is for every person. So she would help me find a birth control that is right. Also calling the Dr office to get prescriptions filled are insane. They only want to prescribe if I come in and pay copays. I was disappointed with my experience at this office. An expensive diagnostic test was ordered and performed during my visit without any explanation or discussion. I had no symptoms that would indicate a need for this test, and I only found out about it after receiving a lab bill. When I called to ask why it was done, I was told it was considered a standard part of new patient care at this office and that I should have asked about and declined any tests I didn’t want. I love Dr Boyd and her NP Aquia... I want to transfer so severely due to the rude staff. I called yesterday with questions about my lab orders to make sure they were correct, and the MA, who I CANNOT stand, was arguing me down because she did not know the lab I was talking about, which is what the NP has been treating me with. Mind you, I am an RN and very proactive with my health. I checked my Lab Corp and read off the order for the specific test I needed, and the rude MA went on to say, "I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT." I can't tell you about anyone else other than Dr. Katherine Boyd and to me "she's the best" point blank period and I stand on that.
