Boyd responded to my negative review a full 5 years after their mistake saying they wanted to address the issue professionally. They stained our doors the wrong color because they mixed up our trim sample in their shop. They claim we approved a second scope of work to fix their mistake, which we didn't. $1,500 for original project + $2,700 on top to fix the mistake = $4,200 is not reasonable, in our opinion.

We have used Boyd to remodel almost our entire 100 year old house over the last 8 years. Their work is top of the line, most recently transforming our basement from a dark, cold, unfinished storage space into a multi-use area for our family and friends. They have always been responsive, transparent, and flexible, which is why we continually use them for projects in different parts of our house (master bath, multiple other bathrooms, bedrooms, mud room, kitchen, outdoor roof with columns, and our basement). We've had a long, difficult road with Boyd Construction. And now, months later, they aren't returning my call or my request to come look at the final product they gave us. Let me start with credit where credit is due, however: they have attempted multiple times to make right the mistakes they made, but they haven't succeeded. Every new visit creates a new problem. We had a great experience with the team at Boyd construction. Their professionalism, attention to detail and the commitment to make sure our kitchen renovation was done correctly was very appreciated. They were also extremely clean throughout the project. Something a mom of 3 little ones truly appreciated. Thank you Boyd!
