Had a very bad experience at Boyat dental, Hopkins. I was told core build up (checking gum strength) would be covered by insurance. But weeks later I got a statement to pay the entire amount of $280, which i was not informed before the procedure was performed. I feel cheated that they told me its covered by insurance and yet they charged me full. After some much arguement I had to pay $140.The price i paid for choosing Boyat dental!
I have been a patient for 19 years and would not trust my dentistry to anyone else.
I have been getting my dental care from Dr. Boyat since he took over the practice from Dr. Brandstetter. I have been extremely happy with his care - and this is from a woman that hates going to the dentist. . I have had a few crowns and a root canal - all with no pain. The staff is all fabulous and friendly. I find Dr. Boyat very personable and approachable.
Our experience with Boyat Dentistry has been extremely positive. This is the dentist office that has served our entire family while we raised our children. Our kids know and are comfortable with the staff, we all have received excellent care and treatment for our teeth, and they have extended very personal service to our family. After seeing some of these positive reviews on this site, I am wondering if these people have actually been seen by Boyat. Here is an accurate portrayal of a visit to his office: Kind hygienists and a pleasant experience with them. Then comes in Dr. Boyat, who refuses eye contact with patients, comes in and does his part and leaves before you can ask questions, leaving the hygienists to deal with the patient.
