Instead of sticking to the simple repair I asked for, the technician inspected the entire house and gave me a choice between a $5000 update to our electrical system or a $1000 update. There were no safety hazards warranting this. He was quite disappointed when I insisted on the simple repair, which I believe was overpriced at $400.
