I’ve been going to this office for years, and LOVE doctor MIKE, who listens more than any other doctor I’ve ever had. He works my prescriptions around my hit-or-miss insurance, and takes me seriously even if I’m just talking about a rash or sprain.Linda again, however, is less awesome. Clean bill of health? More like ACUTE LEUKEMIA.I was given a clean bill of health by Dr Boxum. With that being said I had to call several times to even get the results and when I did all I got was 'Doctor says your good just make sure to take your antibiotics.' I didn't feel like that was correct based off of how I was feeling so I went to get a second opinion.Turns out I have an acute leukemia (AML) and definitely was not alright. Michael has been my doctor for years and my dads for longer. His skills and view on medical issues is unmatched. He listens to me and has helped me get past several medical conditions, he found the problem and fixed it. He’s the only doctor I truly trust. His staff is kind to me and so is his nurse. Dr Michael is kind and listens well. He is very thorough and compassionate. I waited about 4 months and called regularly before finally getting in to see him but it was worth the wait. My only suggestion is to avoid the office staff at all costs except one young girl who will do all she can to accomplish what the others will not. There are 2 women who answer the telephones who are rude and unpleasant. Don't let them keep you from seeing Dr Mike and his nice, helpful nurse. They are great!
Have been seeing doctor for about 2 years now. He's been great at helping me manage a chronic condition and get well when I'm sick. Very thorough and doesn't just consider 1 cause of a problem but looks at all the contributing factors. Very caring.
