We were very happy to discover that bakery - it was one of our friends' recommendation. Before we had problems with purchasing good quality rye bread, but then we found out that it was offered by Abraham, and a variety of it. It is really delicious. We became his devoted customers, and now his bread is always in our menu.
the staff was very welcoming and observant. mood here reminds me of colorado springs area.
Abraham's breads are from a time when food was revered for its purity and wholesomeness. I had the pleasure of buying Pumpkin Pecan Scones and Abraham's gluten free Oat Bread (round). He explained that his grains had soaked for many hours, then mixed the flour with yogurt, making for an incredibly moist slice. We are so fortunate to have such a craftsman living among us and sharing his expertise.
Wonderful baked goods in a wide variety of grains. They have unusual items too. They are often at the Carrboro Farmer's Market and will give you samples for tasting.
