I recently underwent a second surgery , other foot, with Dr Bowman. He continues to be a great surgeon and we are lucky to have him in the Pittsburgh area. He’s good listener and emphathetic. His treatment plan is well defined and after hearing it three times, one being his dictation , I was very confidant in his skillful hands. He is very clear on the do’s & dont’s After surgery and I had my homework to do. Overall good experience & surgical team. Would recommend highly.
Dr. Bowman was wonderful explaining to me in a way that I could understand. I had to wait for a while in the waiting room to see him. I understand 100% that emergencies happen and I appreciate all the time he takes with his patients. He is the best orthopedic doctor around. The staff was very friendly and I had no problems at all Getting appointments.
Dr. Bowman successfully surgically repaired my ankle and has also treated ongoing issues with my thumbs. Each encounter I've had with him he presents as inquisitive, engaged, and responsive. He explains conditions and takes time to discuss options. Dr. Bowman offers to answer questions and does not rush through the exam process. His staff is cordial and patient focused. Also, because he is not with AHN or UPMC, there is no insurance provider conflict. I have recommended Dr. Bowman many times!
Knowledgeable about my condition, but the wait to see him is horrible. Had to schedule a month and a half out, for a return patient and when I got there, I waited over 2 hours to be seen. As much as I wanted to leave a good review, I can’t understand why you can run 2 full hours behind schedule without notifying patients.
Because of Dr. Bowman‘s superb surgical skills, knowledge and dedication, he enabled me to walk again following ankle surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone .
Dr. Bowman performed a subtaler joint fusion. It was my second fusion. The first one didn’t take, & my last doctor lied & said it did. I’m so happy that I found Dr. Bowman. I trust him completely. He takes time to explain things, & he is honest about what is happening. I’d go to him for anything.
Horrible staff and doctor was pompous and rude and refused to answer questions claiming I was testing his patience when I asked just two questions. Barely did an exam and wanted to do surgery two days later without letting me know any costs or what procedure was involved. Avoid at all costs. Despicable human being.
Has done 4 surgeries for my husband, both wrists, foot twice. All excellently done. Explained everything, answered all questions. Have and will recommend him to anyone
Dr. Bowman is the best in terms of his knowledge and skills as a surgeon. I would recommend his practice to anyone having hand or foot problems.
