My family and I lived at Bowling Brook Apartments for 26 months (April 2024-June 2026). The first year was great, so we renewed. It’s in a prime location and close by to everything. The only issue we had is that they claim to be smoke free but the whole complex smells like weed 24/7, whenever we complained nothing happened. The kitchen appliances are older but we made do. This apartment was likely the worst place I have ever lived, and I lived in a Marine Corps barracks. To start, their lack of maintenance almost killed my wife. The washer/dryer combo, that they shove in a closet, caught fire due to their lack of routine maintenance. Never once in my over 2 years of living here did they clean out the dryer line. I lived there for two years. The location is nice, the homes are decent. The appliances are cheap. And the office staff is racist. They thought I had a pit bull even though it was a chihuahua and reported my family. No matter how many times i assured them it was only a chihuahua with photos and even passing him by the office, they assumed I was lying? It was ridiculous. They are extremely prejudice. I have been a resident at Bowling Brook for many years, and my family's experience here has been consistently great during our time here. Cesar and his staff have done an excellent job keeping the neighborhood clean, quiet, and safe. Parking is spacious and free; the grounds are beautifully maintained; and the buildings and units have been renovated and kept up-to-date over the years.
