Eric Enhoffer is a terrible home appraiser. Do not ever use him for a home appraisal. He used the lowest comparable homes sold in your area to justify his appraisal. For example, I had an appraisal done a month ago by a certified appraisar and it was $312,000. Eric Enhoffer came and appraised the same house for $251,000, plus he does not know how to take proper pictures of my house. He needs to go back to school and relearn how to do a proper appraisal.
Great Company. Extremely capable of evaluating relatively complex comparable sales to determine accurate subject property value. Not many customers or consumers understand how appraisers arrive at an accurate property value. It’s not as simple as people think.
Eric Enhoffer is master of his craft. Not only has he performed appraisals on properties I have been selling. He also took his personal time AT 7:00am ON A SATURDAY To help think through an appraisal issue I had on another home. He knows his business well, is super professional and an all around good guy. If you are looking to appraise your home before selling I would suggest you give him a call. I include Eric on my preferred vendor list
Hey Eric. Wrong again. We aren’t taking about house plans. Your team showed up and appraised the wrong parcel of land. You even included those pictures in the appraisal delivered to me! Don’t come along and tell me I’m wrong on that. Bad customer service. The fact of the matter is I got my money back on your shoddy appraisal. The bank wouldn’t have given me money back if you were in the right.
Lacked an understanding of the neighborhood my home was in and compared it to homes over 2 miles away. Properties in my particularly neighborhood sell for higher prices, but he didn’t factor that in since he went too far away. The only house in my neighborhood he compared it to he denigrated, but then said my house was barely worth more. Appraiser was chosen by refinance company, but if you have a choice I would recommend using someone else.
