I had such a great time at the Bowlero in Alameda! The atmosphere was fun and energetic, and the staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. The lanes were well-maintained, and everything felt clean and organized. I really appreciated how easy it was to get set up and start bowling—plus the food and drinks were actually really good, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend for a fun night out!
I remember that it used to be Mel's Bowl!
I recently hosted my son’s birthday party at this venue, and I was taken aback by the strict rules regarding the food package. I was informed in a rather rude manner that the food would not be replenished if adults continued to eat from it. At the beginning of the planning process, I made it clear to the party planner that I was more than willing to pay for extra food and drinks if necessary, particularly if we had more guests than the limit set for the children included in the package. Jesse, the manager, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all my questions and helping me while I waited for my guests at my birthday party. A big thank you to the whole team, and especially to Jesse, for making the experience so special. I highly recommend Bowlero to anyone looking for a fun and memorable place to celebrate!
I'm updating my review to 5 stars from my previous review: Long story short, I booked a birthday party for daughter and biggest critiques were the food and preparation timeliness. I can say that I still like the place because it's clean and service is good. The owner or senior manager quickly responded my review and we actually spoke on phone.
