I grew up in a tiny apartment across the street with 7 other women. We were all piled up but it was the happiest time of my life.... best was smell of the bread baking that fills up that area of the neighborhood. True happiness is a empanada de crema from the Bowie Bakery and some milk while your grandmother snuggles next to you with her cafe de olla.
El Paso finest bakery. Viva La Bowie High, El Segundo Barrio y La Bowie Bakery.
Not a good service today by the lady who attended me she had a long face and even threw the money in the counter
So glad my nurse at Texas Tech told me about this place while I was in town visiting a specialist. There is heart and soul in every pastry. Love this place!
