I rented from Bower housing for 2 years and it was always a 100% positive experience. I felt like i was always treated very fair whenever I had issues with the apartment no matter what they were. The landlord would send out a repair man in a reasonable time, or she would fix it herself. Additionally, I had a family friend that's a lawyer look over my renters lease and it was considered reasonable and fair. First off, when we moved in, the place was dirty and the landlord, Marlene, would not fix anything that is broken or almost broken. Throughout the year the front piece with the handle to one of our drawers broke off and she never sent a repair man. Our fridge shelf was also broken and the towel rod in the bathroom was broken since we moved in. We notified her several times of the repairs needed but she said she wouldn't send a repair man. Renting from Bower Housing is really bad experience. The owner of Bower Housing is a real mean woman, She will force you to give an extra months renting fees as deposit and after your lease is over she will never answer your phone to give the money back. Besides, if anything in the apartment is broken, she will not come to fix for you and will find every possible excuses to blame that you should be responsible to what is broken so that she can charge you fees.
