I visited Bowen Optical some years ago when visiting relatives. I damaged my eyeglasses and needed a repair. Bowen Optical fixed them within the hour! Most chain optical shops (at least in NY) refuse to touch anything they hadn’t sold themselves. Since then Bowen has been my go-to for frame & eyeglass repair as well as lens replacement. Their combination of expertise & customer service is unmatched.
Been around a long time. Bowen Optical knows eye wear and is very knowledgeable, dependable and caring. Rare to find these days. Highly recommended

I broke my glasses and went to My EyeDR on Haywood road where I purchased my lenses only a few months ago. They wanted me to purchase a wire attachment and wait two weeks for a repair. ( they had the wire attach on frames in the show room but would not use them. Or buy new frames) I went to Bowen Optical and had my glasses repaired in a matter of minutes for a fraction of the cost! This is the only place where I will buy frames and lenses in the future! Thank you for saving my day!
Was referred to Bowen for glasses and so glad I went. Mr Bowen came out to talk with me about the company and Dale took plenty of time and treated me like I was the only customer in the office. Got my glasses in 2 days and they are perfect. I recommend stopping by to meet them yourself and see how good it feels to do business with people who care.
