I started going to The Bowen Center back in 2022… while I was REALLY struggling with my mental health. At first, it was very difficult for me to find the right therapy and medications that worked for me… it took about a year before I finally found the right psychiatrist… and of course, there was also a lot of trial and error with medications before I could even feel stable again. Overall a great place for MAT the biggest complaint I have is the doctors are slow to respond to changes they made. Rescheduling on their behalf means no medication for several days which is very detrimental to MAT patients.
Very frustrating experience. I specifically asked them to keep my appointment as scheduled because I planned to attend, but they still canceled it. Now they’re trying to reschedule me two months out, which is unacceptable.
This place is a freaking joke. They don't care about helping people. They do more harm than good. They don't even try to give a proper diagnosis and they sure don't care about your well being. They can't keep help because employees start to realize how corrupt they really are. They mixed my meds so much I ended up in ICU and instead of owning up to their mistakes they put in the report that it was a SUICIDE ATTEMPT!!!! I refuse to let you do that to me again!! Genuinely one of the worst therapy places I've been to and I have multiple reasons why. 1. Their main psychologist, Dr. Ahmad, is a quack. He believes that ADHD is a disorder that can magically go away when you get older. Also, he never listens when you tell him things and is awful when it comes to appointments. In office appointments are impossible to come by because he has so many patients and so little time. 2.
