I chose to patronize this restaurant on Small Business Saturday. The “bow tie” chef sat 3ft away in jeans and sneakers but didn’t acknowledge my table at all even though the place was empty except for 1 other set of guests. The food was bland and lukewarm. I will NOT be returning or referring friends.
Totally disappointed!! Tonight I took my family of four out to support “Small Business Saturday”. Boy did we pick the wrong business. We walked in and were greeted by a very polite and friendly server by the name of Dottie. Dottie was the only thing that was pleasant about our entire experience. First we were only the third party that was seated in the restaurant. So it was not a busy time at all. The table that Dottie placed us at was directly across from the bar. I immediately noticed that sitting behind us was the owner M... read more
Such an amazing and unique place. Great stories, friendly staff, and amazing food! Will definitely be making it a regular spot!
Finally had a chance to eat here!! The ambience is great, love the building! And, the food was delicious! Can't wait to be back~ can't help but think what a great location this would be for any time of CHristmas party, rehearsal dinner, office function etc!!
This past weekend I used Dulac's as an event space for a Bridal shower and it was AMAZING!! Mr Dulac was a gracious host and he allowed us to have so much creative control!! He made a wonderful spread of deserts and appetizers to share with our guests and everyone was pleased and complimenting the food days after the event!!! The fried Green tomatoes were a hit!!!!!!!!!! I will give Dulac's my business any day!
My husband and I dined at DuLac's for dinner. My husband had the "Cast Iron Treasure" (fried chicken). I had "221 E. Highland Dr." (country fried steak). We tasted each other's meals and had a hard time deciding which we liked best. Both meals were fantastic. I must say that I especially enjoyed the country fried steak because it tasted like home. We're looking forward to stopping by to try brunch the next time we're in the area.
This was our first and last time dining here. The waitress was very friendly but not very knowledgeable. They were also out of some items. The food was really bland and tasteless. We ordered dessert and the salted caramel cake tasted freezer burned. We tried to like it but we were really disappointed. We were there for 2 hours and there was one other table the whole time. That should have been a sign.
Owner and staff are great. Food is delicious, especially the egg rolls.
The food was perfect in every way. Service was great. The bartender didn't have much personality- he might want to smile once in a while. We will definitely be back.
