This Bowtie theatre at Annapolis Mall is no longer a place I will go to the movies because of the new “reserve a seat” policy. It’s ridiculous that I need to plan days in advance to go to the movies, and buy tickets online because the theatres now only seat maybe half as many people and shows are sold out. So, I will now be going to Regal Cinemas where it’s stadium seating & plenty of seats.
Massive lines. The staff behind the counter lack any sense of real initiative. I asked for help and the only answer I got was, I’m off the clock and I can’t call my manager. This has been a reoccurring trend from this theater since they started the new renovations. Also there were bugs walking across the dirty and greasy concessions counter.
Lines...lines... and more lines... slowest concession and box office service ever
I couldn’t check out online using the Bow Tie cinemas gift cards my children have, when I called they said they couldn’t do it over the phone either. When I went in there was only one person at the ticket booth working (he was fantastic but def needed help!) and we stood in line for 45 minutes to purchase tickets. When we got upstairs for concessions there were only 2 people working, the menu boards were not working, the bathrooms were closed for renovations and again we stood inline for 40 more minutes for the snacks. The theater was clean and the reclining seats are real nice
Volume at Annapolis Mall too loud. Always a long line for popcorn.
Reserved seating are you kidding me. No thank you. I will go somewhere else for now on.
New reclining seats and Dolby Atmos in the BTX theater are amazing!
