skip it – there are a few bars worth visiting on the upper west, and this is not one of them. so if you find yourself walking by, keep walking. we were there last thursday and it was just corny. the music was awful (over played hip-hop and not the good ones), the bartenders were incapable of handling a busy bar, seemed like thirsty customers are not their priority, while the two female were completly rude and snots (yes, the world obviously revolves around them!), the guy bartender was just lame, and the customers should pro... read more
I HEART BOURBON STREET – I love to go here for a crazy night out- dancing on the bar and singing to the popular music that's being played. They just renovated the outside of the bar- added an awning and more bar tables/stools. Great for letting a breeze go through the bar.
AWESOME TIME!! – We always have a great time there on mondays and tuesday nights.. the karaoke girl Casey is great and extremely HOT!!! What a sweetheart!! Great drink specials and great bartenders... Good time!!
Entertaining and Fun – Where is Beee??? Less of a place without her. Still worth the trip but some nights there too many guys there...and too many guys behind the bar.
What a great place! – You have to love Bourbon Street! It has kicked ass for more years than I can remember. Everybody always has a great time here - not excuding myself! Cheers!
Lively – There's good energy and always lots of friendly people here. Surprisingly it was totally dead when I went on a Thursday once, but Fridays and Saturdays seem to be safe bets! The drinks are pretty expensive for a dive bar though ($6 for Bass Ale? - Wow!).
mardi gras – Everyday feelss like Mardi Gras at this fun bar on the Upper West Side. There are always girls dancing on the bar pouring free shots and throwing out beads. The bartenders are a lot of fun and they know how to get the crowd invovled. I will definitely be back!
Crazy !!! – You know your not in kansas anymore when you enter this place, everyone seemed to have fun, great place to go crazy. Reminds me of the Drift Inn in west hampton. The Music was all that chessy 80's stuff from college with a good mix of some new dance and hip-hop. Don't eat mexican food before you go there or you'll be in for some trouble as the bathrooms left something to be desired.
Great time – Went there on saturday with some friends for a B-day party. The music was great everything from the 80's and current stuff, the bathroom needs a little TLC, I got drunk but best of all my friend had a blast.
